Parasites menace

New research shows that parasites not only control the behavior of their hosts, they can change entire ecosystems to suit their needs. "Hookworms sink their teeth into the intestinal walls of more than a billion people every day to drink their fill of blood." According to the World Health Organization, 3.5 billion people suffer from some type of parasitic infection. Not all of these people live in third world countries; many in the developed world have any number of parasitic infections, some of which are so highly contagious that extremely casual contact with something that has been handled by an infected person can infect another person. Symptoms may vary depending on the type and amount of infestation. The worms may go undetected for years with no apparent symptoms, or they may be seen in the stool.

Cindy Engel Ph.D. - "Infection by pathogenic parasites may be a symptom of ill health, rather than the simple or single cause. We are all surrounded by zillions of bacteria, fungi, worms, insects and predators out looking for an easy meal. Each host species carries many parasites specialised in attacking that species alone, and many more that can be shared with others. There are more species of parasite than there are host species. Parasitism is the norm for life on this planet, not the exception. Nonetheless, a healthy animal host usually resists severe infection. It is the already debilitated animal, or the one living in an exceptionally infectious environment, that succumbs. "...when defences are insufficient to the task, the parasite population becomes uncontrollable, and the plant or animal gets sick and may die. In death, the rot really sets in, as other species take advantage of the now undefended nutrients."

Pinworms, tapeworms, and roundworms are parasites existing in the intestinal tract. The three most common types of worms found in the body are: the thread or seat worms (Oxyurix vermicularis), the roundworm (Ascares lumbricoides--lumbrici), and the tapeworm (Taeince-taenia solium, Bothriocephalus latus). There are other less-common worm types that enter the body, such as hookworms (Ancylostoma duodenal, Nectar Americanus) and those of unclean pork (Trichinella spiralis), which thrive upon various conditions of filth and degeneration.  The intestinal roundworm Ascaris lumbricoides infection in humans follows the ingestion of Ascaris eggs that have contaminated foods or soil. In the small intestine the larvae are liberated and migrate through the intestinal wall, reaching the lungs, where they may produce a host sensitization that results in lung inflammation and fluid retention. About 10 days later, the larvae pass from the respiratory passages into the digestive tract and mature into egg-producing worms, which grow to some 15 to 40 cm (6 to 16 inches) in length, in the small intestine. Serious, even fatal, Native Americans knew that humans are plagued by parasites. Other native peoples, from the Arctic to the Antarctic, also knew that humans, like animals, have parasitescomplications of ascariasis result from the infiltration of the larvae into sensitive tissues, such as the brain, and from the migration of the adult worms into various body structures where they produce abcesses and toxic manifestations. Ascariasis exists worldwide and is believed to affect some 660 million persons.

Adult worms live in the lumen of the small intestine. A female may produce up to 240,000 eggs per day, which are passed with the feces . Fertile eggs embryonate and become infective after 18 days to several weeks , depending on the environmental conditions (optimum: moist, warm, shaded soil). After infective eggs are swallowed , the larvae hatch , invade the intestinal mucosa, and are carried via the portal, then systemic circulation to the lungs . The larvae mature further in the lungs (10 to 14 days), penetrate the alveolar walls, ascend the bronchial tree to the throat, and are swallowed . Upon reaching the small intestine, they develop into adult worms . Between 2 and 3 months are required from ingestion of the infective eggs to oviposition by the adult female. Adult worms can live 1 to 2 years

Herbal Parasite Remedies
by Hulda Regehr Clark Ph.D

The material you are about to read is quoted from Dr. Hulda's book, The Cure for all Diseases. It is presented here as a public information service only. All rights are reserved by the author and/or the publisher.

Getting rid of all these parasites would be absolutely impossible using clinical medicines that can kill only one or two parasites each. Such medicines also tend to make you quite ill. Flaghl is used for Amoebas and Giardia. When the correct dosage is used, it can cause extreme nausea and vomiting. Quinine used for Malaria is quite toxic. Imagine taking 1O such drugs to kill a dozen of your parasites! That may be a great strategy for drug makers, but not for you.

There is a better way. Three herbs can rid you of over 100 different types of parasites! And without so much as a headache! Without nausea! And without interfering with any other drug that you may need to take! Does this sound too fantastic? Just too good to be true? These herbs are nature's gift to us. The herbs you need are:

    * Black Walnut Green Tincture
    * Wormwood Tincture
    * Cloves Tincture

If you use them together you will rid yourself of all these parasites. They must be used together as a single treatment. If you kill only the adults, the tiny stages and eggs will soon grow into new adults. If you kill only eggs, the million stages already loose in your body will soon grow into adults and make more eggs. So all the herbs should be used together as a single treatment.

The green hull surrounding the nut of the black walnut tree is a miraculous parasiticide. After it has turned black it is useless. The large green balls fall to the ground early in the fall. In a week or two they will be black and decaying. Therefore, anyone wishing to make parasiticide must be careful not to let the critical time for harvesting pass. I encourage everyone to make their own parasiticide, and to take back the responsibility of keeping themselves and their families free of these tiny monsters. The recipe for Black Walnut Green Hull Tincture is given in Recipes.

Note that it is a tincture -- extracted using grain alcohol -- rather than an ordinary extract, which use water. The Black Walnut extract available from some herb companies is not potent enough to make an effective parasiticide. It is black, not pale green, indicating that the critical harvesting time had passed. Of course there is no time to make your own if you have fast growing or metastasizing cancer. Black walnut hull and wormwood kill adults and developmental stages of at least 100 parasites. Cloves kill the eggs. Only if you use them together will you rid yourself of parasites. If you kill only the adults, the tiny stages and eggs will soon grow into new adults. If you kill only the eggs, the million stages already loose in your body will soon grow into adults and make more eggs. They must be used together as a single treatment.

It is the green hull surrounding the nut of the black walnut tree that has this miraculous parasiticide. After it has turned black, it is useless. The large green balls fall to the ground early in the fall. In a week or two they will be black and decaying. Therefore, anyone wishing to make parasiticide must be careful not to let the critical time for harvesting pass. I encourage everyone to make their own parasiticides and to take back the responsibility for keeping themselves and their families free of these tiny monsters. The recipe for Black Walnut Hull Tincture (extra strength) is given in Recipes (page 503).

Note that it is a tincture (extracted using grain alcohol), not an ordinary extract (which uses water). The black walnut extract that is available from herb companies is not potent as a parasiticide. See the chapter Sources.

You will only need one 1 oz. bottle. While you are waiting for it to arrive, get your other 2 herbs ready: wormwood and cloves. Wormwood consists of the leaves of the Artemisia shrub. My recommendation is that you grow it yourself if you have any space to do so. Wormwood seed is available from seed catalogs, see Sources.

The amount you need to cure a cancer is very small, yet you cannot do without it. But the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has regulated it as toxic! It is therefore unavailable in concentrated form from herb companies. The evidence for toxicity accepted by the FDA must have been hearsay. I have never seen a case of toxicity, not so much as a headache or nausea. The toxic level must be much higher than is needed to kill these parasites.

This shrub is called wormwood for good reason: it kills worms! There is quite a bit of confusion over which Artemisia is the true wormwood. Books and nurseries can be wrong, even though they assure you they are correct! Buy Artemisia absynthium for your garden. Wormwood goes back to antiquity and is mentioned in the Bible.

If you grow your own, dry the leaves when they are in their prime. The leaves are greenish gray and quite bitter. Nobody would accidentally eat too much of them. Adults may put them in capsules. For a child, crumble ¼ tsp. and stir into honey. I have not done experiments to be more precise than this. Wormwood capsules are available as a combination of Artemisia, and other herbs The third herb necessary to cure cancer is cloves. This is the common spice used in baking. It needs to be ground up in order to release its parasite killing properties. You can buy a can of whole cloves and grind them in a blender or grinder. Store-bought "ground cloves" do not work! Their parasite killing properties have evaporated long ago. Ground cloves from a health food store or herb shop may not work either! They may have been ground years ago.

Parasites. The word typically conjures images of impoverished living conditions, foreign travel or questionable eating establishments. But the presence of parasites is much more common than most people think. Contaminated water supplies, poor hygiene, and ignorance, coupled with the presence of various commonly found parasites puts infection rates among North Americans as high as 85 per cent, according to some experts. In "The Parasite Menace", Dr Skye Weintraub educates the reader about parasites: how to prevent infection, detect their presence, and rid ourselves of them by through diet and nutrition, herbal and supplemental therapies, and other natural practices. Dr Weintraub also examines proper hygiene practices, water filters, proper food handling, immune system fortification, and other ways to decrease our risk of being infected with parasites.Moore

Microbes and cancer
According to Dr. Hulda  Clark, cancer and other diseases are caused by parasites and/or pollutants and are healed and prevented by cleaning the body and environment of the offending substances/invaders.Studies show that microbes are pleomorphic i.e. they change forms during their life cycles from viral stages to fungus, bacteria and other forms. These changes are said to be determined by the food sources in which they grow with some benign and others pathogenic or disease causing.  The virulent forms are normally present in the human body as benign forms when we stay healthy. Their transformation to cancer, virulent infections and in our body is dependent on our state of health, and dietary habits. When we make healthy food choices virulent microbes never transform into cancerous forms

 Many cancers are associated with infections (for example cervical cancer is linked to the human papilloma virus) but there is no stronger link between a human malignancy and a parasitic infection than that between cancer of the bile ducts and a liver fluke called Opisthorchis viverrini.

 Examples of cancers of microbial origins are the hepatitis virus that can cause liver cancer, the helicobacter bacteria that can cause stomach cancer and the papilloma virus that can cause cervical cancer .

When cancer is caused by underlining viral infection, it is imperative to eradicate the microbes to eradicate the cancer. Some cancers have a combination of microbial attack  and cancer component. While alternative remedies  can be used continually with healing reactions as their  only adverse effect, chemotherapy and radiations  treatments are spread at intervals because they are too toxic for continuous use. By spreading chemotherapy over a time interval  during treatments   fast growing cancer cells have time to reestablish their defense mechanisms and grow at faster rates.. This is truer when the etiology of the cancer is of microbial origin. The microbes mutate and  develop resistant strains that further propergate proliferation of cancer.

  Alan Cantwell, M.D, a retired dermatologist, cancer researcher and author of the book ‘ The Cancer Microbe’ noted that  on December 3, 1890 William Russell, a pathologist in the School of Medicine at the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh,    addressed  the Pathological Society of London in a position paper that  detailed  histopathologic findings of "a characteristic organism of cancer" . He noticed  microscopically in fuchsine-stained tissue sections from all forms of cancer that he examined, as well as in certain cases of tuberculosis, syphilis and skin infection. The parasite was seen observed in the tissue cells (intracellular) and outside the cells (extracellular). Russell  classified the parasite as a possible "blastomycete" (a type of fungus); and called the forms "fuchsine bodies" due to  their bluish-red staining qualities.At the New York State Pathological Laboratory of the University of Buffalo, Harvey Gaylord confirmed Russell's research in a presentation titled "The protozoon of cancer", published in May, 1901, in the American Journal of the Medical Sciences. Gaylord found the small forms and the large sacs characteristic of Russell bodies in every cancer he examined

Researchers  at The Queensland Institute of Medical Research (QIMR), with colleagues in Thailand and the U.S.A., have initiated an  studies  to identify the mechanisms by which the liver fluke causes cancer of the bile ducts (also known as cholangiocarcinoma - CCA). Results of joint research project (Project of Early Clinical Development for Anti-Cancer Medicine and Devices) conducted by the Super Special Consortia between the Institute for Advanced Biosciences at Keio University and the National Cancer Center Hospital East show  that cancer uses the same type of metabolism as roundworms..

How do we aquire parasites?

 Everything living in the human body that take its food from the us is a parasite. Parasitic worms are classified into roundworms and flatworms. Roundworms are round like earthworms which may be as thin as hairs (threadworms, filaria) or microscopically small (like Trichinella). Worm parasites go through stages of development that can look significantly different from the adult. Roundworms like Ascaris (common cat and dog roundworm), are the most elementary. The eggs are swallowed by licking or eating a bit of filth. They hatch into a tiny larva. The larva goes to the lungs.  It then crawls to the intestine where it becomes an adult, shedding eggs in the stool. Flatworms behave like leeches. They   attach themselves sometimes with the head (scolex) like tapeworms, sometimes with a special sucker like flukes. For flat worms one could eat the eggs accidentally with dirt. After hatching, the tiny larva burrows into its favorite organ. The human body encases it with a cyst. The white blood cells have been taught never to attack your body...and the cyst case is your body! So the tapeworm stage has safe residence for some time.

A   meat eater could eat such a cyst if it happens to be lodged in the meat the teeth break it apart. The little larva is swallowed and tries to attach itself to the intestine with its head. Then it grows longer by making segment after segment. The segments with their eggs leave with the bowel contents. Parasites proliferate when we consume mucous and acid-forming foods like coffee, sodas, alcoholic beverages, peanuts, meat, eggs, flour and dairy products. Parasites are too small to see with the naked eye. Parasites start out in the digestive tract where they steal food and nutrients. This is why individuals with lot of parasites in them habitually overeat. Flatworms like flukes are also very complicated. The eggs, passed out with bowel contents. They hatch in a pond where snails and minnows eat them. The larva grows up in these new” secondary" hosts. Later, the snail sheds them and they attach themselves to foliage near the pond. They survive unfavorable conditions in a tough metacercarial cyst. An unsuspecting browsing animal now eats them. They come out of their metacercarial cyst as a small adult and quickly attach themselves to the intestine with a sucker. They now have "safe haven" and can go about
maturing and laying eggs. They   burrow out of the intestinal tract into every organ including the brain .When humans consume these meat products, the flat worms establish themselves in our body, feed on our food and become parasitic

Scientists  including Akiyoshi Hirayama and Professor Tomiyoshi Soga of the Institute for Advanced Biosciences (IAB), Keio University (located in the City of Tsuruoka, Yamagata Prefecture, Director General: Masaru Tomita) and Hiroyasu Esumi, Director of the National Cancer Center Hospital East (located in the City of Kashiwa, Chiba Prefecture) have used metabolomic  analysis to show that the metabolism  used by cancer cells to create the energy necessary for proliferation could be the same or similar to the specific type of metabolism used by parasites such as roundworms in low-oxygen environments. These are the first such findings ever made worldwide, and are the results of a joint research project entitled “Project of Early Clinical Development for Anti-Cancer Medicine and Devices” conducted between IAB Keio University and the National Cancer Center Hospital East, which was selected by the national government as a Super Special Consortia for FY2008 for supporting the development of cutting-edge medical care. These findings were published in the 19 May, 2009 online edition of Cancer Research (American Association for Cancer Research).

Studies show that in oxygen-rich environments, the vast majority of living organisms use the citric acid cycle  a central part of metabolism, to produce ATP a source of energy. Parasitic roundworms inhale oxygen and use the same citric acid cycle as humans to produce energy in environments where oxygen is freely available, such as when they are growing as larvae or outside hosts. However, once they enter the small intestine where oxygen is not freely available, they use a special type of metabolism to produce energy. A certain type of anti-parasitic drugs selectively inhibits this special type of metabolism used by the parasite, which kills the parasite without causing any adverse reaction in the human host.

A group of researchers led by Hiroyasu Esumi, the Director of the National Cancer Center Hospital East, discovered in 2004 that anti-parasitic drugs can kill malignant cancer cells. Based on these results and the fact that cancer cells can actively proliferate in environments with limited oxygen and no blood vessels, it was hypothesized in 2004 that cancer cells produce energy using a type of metabolism that is similar to that employed by roundworms.The research team took cancer tissue and normal tissue from colon cancer and stomach cancer patients. A comprehensive metabolome profiling of each tissue was performed by capillary electrophoresis mass time-of-flight mass spectrometry at IAB Keio University, and the metabolites of the cancer and normal tissues were compared. It was found that a high concentration of succinic acid had accumulated in cancer tissue, a phenomenon that is also observed with roundworms in oxygen-deficient environments. This accumulation of succinic acid in roundworms was only observed with the special type of metabolism (i.e. the type carried out in oxygen-deficient environments), which is strong evidence that cancer cells use the same type of metabolism. It was also revealed that a greater quantity of succinic acid had accumulated in cancers of the colon and rectum, where oxygen concentration is low, than in cancers of the stomach, where oxygen concentration is higher.

Since anti-parasitic drugs can kill cancer cells, and cancer tissue and roundworms use similar metabolic patterns for producing energy, the research project showed that the type of metabolism used by cancer cells to create the energy necessary for proliferation could be the same or similar to the special type of metabolism used by parasites such as roundworms in low-oxygen environments.Some of the research findings were published in the 19 May, 2009 online edition of Cancer Research (American Association for Cancer Research).

 According to Shé D'Montford, Shambhallah, from Australia ‘The human body "WILL HEAL"... If we get out of our own way and allow it, it heals itself. It is our basic nature. Anybody who tells you other than that is trying to sell you something. No matter what you have been told. Don't give up on yourself and don't buy into the lines like ... ‘oh well you've had a good life'... 'at your age'... and the worst of all ...'there's nothing further I can do, I suggest you finalize your affairs'... How dare anyone tell you to give up! So much in society combines to convince us of the propaganda that some things never get better. It's up to you ... do you want to get better? Make things better? It is human nature to make things better, evolve and grow.”
